ABOUT HARVEST CHURCH

Harvest is a church of vision started in March of 1991 as a small storefront unit situated in a small strip mall.

In the beginning Harvest saw its share of growth as well as struggle. In the first year the church suffered a fire that destroyed everything it owned. However, a determined people rose up and built the first sanctuary here on Highway 390.

As everything living does, Harvest has continued to change and grow. Harvest Worship Center’s ministry to the congregation and community continue to bring God’s people together in a pursuit of His purpose.

Harvest ministers to all ages with teaching and many fellowship opportunities.

Our Beliefs

1. God Loves People.

2. God sent His son Jesus to die for our sins and restore man back to righteousness.

3. The Holy Spirit has come to empower us to live as sons (and daughters) of God.

4. Charismatic Worship means the gifts of the spirit operates in the New Testament church.

5. The Word of God is timeless truth, relevant to a successful relationship with our heavenly Father.

6. God’s voice is speaking to those listening for His direction.

7. The greatest commandment is what Jesus taught in Matthew 22:37-40: ◦Jesus said to him, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment and the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

8. God wants us to join with other believers and celebrate his blessings.

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
